I completed my studies in Portuguese Language and Literature and Ancient Greek at the University of São Paulo in Brazil.

I have  been teaching Portuguese for over 10 years. I have taught both adults and children in group and one-on-one settings ranging from beginner to advanced levels.

I always adapt to my student’s needs. I  prefer to make sure my lessons are engaging and interactive, focusing on the learning goals and interests of the student in order to ensure that they remain motivated. My preferred method in teaching involves speaking practice, as much as possible, in combination with various dynamic exercises for professional situations and speech elaboration (audio, visual, etc for adults). I make sure that my students learn what they will come across in daily life, which helps them to maintain the information in between lessons. I like to use books, workbooks and real life materials in my lessons.

I am from Brazil. My native language is Portuguese. I also speak advanced French as well as intermediate level English and Spanish, and basic Chinese. I also Studied Latin, Ancient Greek and some Guarany.

I created this space, initially, as a place where my students could complement their studies by watching videos, doing exercises, listening to music, reading articles, etc. I now extend this invitation to you and everyone who wants to study Portuguese with me. Welcome, this is Portuguese4u!
